A Nation Divided

“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.”

— Julius Caesar

Another truth site is now history.  You see it's ok with the powers that be for sites to go up that tell some of the more unbelievable truth as long as they can't get all of the truth. It's ok to tell some of the harder to believe truth because they know that most people (sheeple) will not believe what they just saw. Some truths are ok to show while one step out of bounds will get you knocked off line and it there is a lot of evidence you will get knocked off personally.
So why take the risk? That's probably what many of our forefathers were asked. In a simple statement, Liberty and Freedom. If we do not have Liberty and Freedom then why worry about living, we're already dead in suppression. Back then many things were harder yet today it's harder to show the truth because people got their news from other people and their views from themselves.

These days people get their news and views from Radio and TV and that comes straight from the people who would rule you. On the Internet they get news from a few real sources and then once again from the same people that own the Radio and TV which are the same people that want to own you. Then they are smart. They create what appears to be rebellious groups, call them conspiracy groups and distort facts while hiding the main information. But at least you feel vindicated. Then they also create all these sub groups, ie gays rights, animal rights, cancer advocates, global warming fighters, labor defenders, anti abortion, democrat, republican, libertarian, conservative the list goes on and within each group there are subgroups until we are so divided we can not stand together.
Just as companies form Consumer Rights groups and these days many Unions are actually company owned, I am a union member. Then we form laws to make us feel better, safer, more secure. Anyone who has battled the "legal" process knows that laws and locks are the same, they keep an honest man honest but do little for making a crook honest. If I owned a large company and wanted to break laws I'd want my workers to be union. With a union when you break the law the workers file a  grievance and if it's not resolved it goes to panel but it's usually dropped. The panel consists of members from both sides (which are actually the same). If they rule against in any part usually the member/worker drops the grievance, a standard is then formed which is seldom ever contested. If you contact the government (keeper of the laws) they send you back to the union, but most people will accept the rules of that decision made right there by those who are suppose to defend you and those who broke the law. The laws passed however do keep the small business in line because they can not afford to break the law.

Then the smoke and mirrors routine. How to sell a product or fact isn't to come forward, especially if it has flaws. How many go to a Consumer Review type magazine or website to see before you buy? I'd almost bet you didn't now that the top 10 positions are bought. It's kind of like the search engines. You can fight all the way to almost the top but the top positions are bought, many times by those with inferior products or information. When you go for instance to a website telling you something look at the advertisers. Web space must be paid for and computers and staff must be paid but at what cost to you? Truth. It's hard but you then need to find out who owns that business advertising and chances are it's a large company. The TV networks are good examples of that, few people know that GE not only makes appliances but also military hardware and they can promote their stuff from their TV network  NBC: includes 13 stations, MSNBC, and other avenues for a complete look Click Here. perhaps a more realistic ad for GE would be "We Bring Good Things to Life, Then We Kill It" Giants don't step on giants but they do walk on everybody else. As you review your next Consumer's Digest that's something to think about. Where are the small manufacturers?

Now we're down with how to keep people from knowing the truth. If you openly attack the truth people soon may wake up. If you distort all the truth people will catch on. I believe it was Hitler who said you do not have to change people's minds, just place a doubt. In some instances what can be done and is by the powers that be is ridicule. How soon do we change our mind if we think it sounds crazy. We become ashamed to talk about it in public for fear of looking insane. We must after all fit in. Rather than do one thing 100% of the time by mixing all these things we have become conquered and nobody notices or at least not many people notice.
