In 2004 I started a KOI Pond. It was late in the year. Kidney shaped with a raised waterfall later added made natural with dirt. About 16 feet long by 3 feet deep and 4 feet wide. In 2005 I got bored while waiting to go back to work from a heat attack and started a new one that goes along beside the old one...only a bit larger. This one is 37 feet long by 16 feet wide and over 4 feet deep at the deepest. They are both lined with 6 mil plastic, 2 layers. It will take at least 1 to 2  more years to mature to complete. It is netted with Nylon Netting to keep out waterfowl, especially Herons and deter preditors. New pictures will be added as we reach new stages, click to enlarge some. Page 2

Newly Started KOI Pond 05	The Lighthouse sets on a bridge of land between the 2 Koi ponds. The Angel in the Stone area look over the first KOI Pond.
When completed the waterfall for the larger one will be a 3 tier waterfall laid with stone.	Notice the poles are straight in this photo vs the one above. They have been concreted in and spaced 8 feet apart.
